About Earthoholics

Earthoholics is an initiative by a 28-year-old Smita D. Shirodkar, CEO and Founder of Earthoholics. An MCOM graduate and MBA in Operations, Smita started working part time in her father’s consumer electronics business since college and later full time handling Production and procurement for his company and eventually founded Earthoholics in November 2011 which is her true passion.

Our team consists of Anuradha who is the youngest member (21yrs) and the only full time employee and four friends - Rahul, Priyanka, Vishal and Bhavesh who regularly volunteer to join during events.

Our vision is to spread awareness & encourage a change in the way we live so that we all can have a healthy life for ourselves and our only planet Earth. We wish to take our little steps towards achieving the same through our Weekend Activity Center at Dadar West which promotes RECYCLE,REUSE & REDUCE- by teaching a new set of people every week via workshops on how they can manage waste, compost, grow their own food, make utility items out of waste like newspaper bags, lanterns, planters, pen holders etc.

We also organise Nature Bazaar, which is moving bazaar. It moves to various central & western suburbs once in every month. At Nature Bazaar, we offer eco friendly substitutes to every little thing we use in our day to day life. Its vision remains to help people live a healthy life for themselves and the planet. There are free seminars on various topics connected for the betterment of our environment and us. Thus, Nature Bazaar too helps us fulfill our vision of implementing a change in the way we all live.

We believe- Every day is Earth Day and if we all come together as one big family, we can surely make a difference to change the things that trouble and disturb our home (Earth) and in turn us.
